Q: Why is Real Time Backup better than a
scheduled backup?
A: Real Time Backup protects your files in real
time. Our program will ensure that the
most recent version of all your files is backed up – without any
additional
effort from you.
Q: How secure are the transfers?
A:
The Aegis
Security Suite uses 128 bit encryption – the same degree of security
that banks
use.
Q: Will Halcyon Computing Services or anyone
else ever open my files?
A:
No. Halcyon adheres strictly to the Privacy
Policy.
Q: How secure are your servers?
A:
Our servers
are located in a protected facility. No
unauthorized access is allowed into the facility or to our
servers.
Your files are backed up on multiple servers
to ensure data integrity.
Q: How much system resources will the Aegis
Security System consume?
A:
The Aegis
Security Suite runs quietly in the background and will only consume
minimal
system resources.
Q: What is the definition of bandwidth?
A:
Halcyon
Computing Services defines bandwidth as any data – protocol information
or
files – that the customer uploads or downloads from our servers.
This value is taken directly from the
transfer logs of the OpenSSH SFTP daemon.
